I was hired by Weymouth College on a 12 month contract to develop a new website using a previously created design that I would later further expand to suit the needs of the website.
The specification given to me was to develop an implementation that was flexible allowing areas to be different without having to create a whole new page.
The implementation process used a combination of HTML and CSS, with PHP elements to allow for common code chunks to be used across the multiple pages.
jQuery was also used in the project to create a custom banner slide show on the homepage that could also track users click-through.
